We have been Pest Detective customers for 16 years. We were first introduced to their services when we renovated our home and found carpenter ant nests in the walls. While the walls were exposed, Chris and staff did a treatment of the entire house, inside and out and took care of the problem. We learned about their annual maintenance program and continued that until about 3 years ago. Then, I guess we got busy and forgot about the annual treatments, which was a mistake because in that time, the critters were back seeking a way to once again establish their old stomping grounds. Last year after observing more activity than usual, we called Pest Detective and resumed the annual maintenance program. Our storage room had to be treated for ants nesting in the walls. They kind of sneak up on you like that, likely because they live in homes in the area where regular treatment is not maintained. So we have continued to have our home treated each year with success that has brought peace of mind. We would like to say that every staff member we’ve met over the years has demonstrated appropriate knowledge and safe practice when applying these pesticides. They have always taken the time to answer questions, provide information about their products, and explain things. Staff are respectful and carry out their work in a highly professional manner. Overall, we have been pleased with the consistency and quality of service over the years and would highly recommend Pest Detective as an excellent choice for any kind pest control.
Arriving on time, they worked like a team. In EXTREME heat in our small crawlspace attic, Nicky crawled along the floor like a contortionist—the space was so small. She was talking to the raccoon like a household pet, trying to make Mommy Raccoon be calm—what patience!!!! They certainly have empathy and passion towards the animals. They set a cage on the roof (the raccoon entrance). Mommy entered the cage, then it was back into the hot crawl space attic to remove the four babies. Thank you Pest Detective…..you do excellent work.
