Don’t Let Pests RUIN Your BBQ

There are few things more enjoyable in summer than being able to host a BBQ. Whether you’re at Cultus Lake in Chilliwack or Burnaby Lake Park or even in Vancouver’s Stanley Park, or in your own backyard one of the most common issues that can get in the way of you having a great BBQ is when you have pests in the home or in the garden. In this post, we’ll take you through some ideas on how to stop pests from ruining your BBQ this year.

Pests #1: Ants

One of the biggest nuisances at any summer gathering that involves food is ants. These can be hard to see at first, but then the moment you put your quiche down, you suddenly notice them everywhere. Ants are experts at grabbing food from right under your nose, but when you do notice them all you need to do is follow the line of them to see where they are coming from. Then you can see just what the scale of your problem is, and whether you might need some professional help from a Vancouver pest control team. Pests #2: Wasps & Bees

Squirrels & Other Animals

In truth, there is no limit to the number of animals who might end up disrupting your BBQ. You may be somewhere where squirrels are a particular nuisance, or you might have other animals to worry about too.
